Tailored to Move at ICRA 2026 extends deadlines for Posters and Demos

Tailored to Move: Wearable Robotics for Motion Assistance workshop has announced an extension of the deadlines for its Call for Posters and Demos. The workshop will take place on 5 June 2026 as part of IEEE ICRA 2026 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together the wearable robotics community around motion assistance, rehabilitation, human augmentation and user-centred robotic design.

The updated timeline sets the submission deadline at 15 April 2026, 23:59 CET, while the notification of acceptance moves from 30 March 2026 to 30 April 2026, 23:59 CET.

The call welcomes 1-page submissions for both posters and demos. Poster abstracts are invited on topics including human-in-the-loop robotics, wearable hardware integration, health and user impact, rehabilitation and independence, and ethics and regulation. Demo proposals are especially encouraged for functional wearable robotic devices, novel sensing or actuation technologies, human-in-the-loop control, real-world applications, and interactive systems suitable for hands-on exploration.

Accepted contributions will be presented during the workshop’s interactive poster session, with presenters also invited to introduce their work through flash presentations. Selected poster abstracts will be invited to submit full papers to a special issue of Advanced Robotics Research, and the workshop will also include awards for Best Poster and Best Demo.

This extension offers an excellent opportunity for researchers, students and developers to contribute to an interactive workshop dedicated to the future of wearable robotics.
